Siddal Moor Sports College

I am an alumnus of the siddal sports college, which is present in the great Manchester of England. I joined there are at the age of 11 and this is only for students between the age of 11 to 16. I am very glad to share my experience with Siddal College and I did my schooling in the world’s best sports school. The school was started in 1968. The school was originally established to serve as a grammar school.  The school is very dedicated and certain values are followed to improve the discipline of the students. Some of its values are teaching the good manners, politeness and kindness to the students.

The siddal moor is a sports specialist college rendering its service to the towns of Heywood and Middleton. They are intended to provide complete education to the students by exploiting all the recourses and facilities. It helps the students to achieve their best by utilizing the opportunities and care is being provided to them during their schooling. The school feels proud with its achievements and it gained high reputation among the people. They are determined to built and withhold previous success in order to help the pupils in achieving more. The school believes that everyone can achieve success in their life through hard work and cooperation.

The school manages various departments including the physical education, music, technology, English, science, mathematics, SEN, arts and lots more. The school offers excellent support to the students by forming the student’s advisory council and the attendance of the students are well maintained. Each and every child is cared with utmost commitment and siddal moor sports college treat all the children equally. The teacher teaches the lesson in a motivating and engaging manner, so the students listen to the classes effectively. All the courses are developed and improved on the basis of the employment and training in the future. As a specialised college, they have been offering quality education for many years and they possess many advanced sports facilities within the campus. They have recorded their success in many local, national and international competitions. They are trying very hard to maximize their success in all areas and the school itself creates many opportunities for the students to explore their talents.

The siddal moor understood the importance of reading and hence it encourages the students to enhance their reading habit. The college does many charity activities around the year and recently the charity gold day was conducted. In that, they collected about 700 Euros in aim of supporting the children at Royal Manchester Hospital. The school is very thankful to students, parents, staffs and other works for their constant support in charity works. Summer camps were conducted for the students and in that event, more than 30 children participated. The two weeks of summer camp was very fun and enthusiastic for students with various activities like dance, drama, hiking and photography. The number of students participating in these events has been increased with the increase in awareness among the students. The students of siddal moor achieved many awards including the Bronze DofE Award and 36 students were awarded in that wonderful occasion. I am very proud that, I was one among the students who came out from the prominent institution.
